Senior expertise directly engaged in the outcome.

FEA Consultants supports manufacturers, contractors, engineering firms and asset owners when a project requires clear technical ownership and specialized expertise.

The assignment starts with what must be decided, demonstrated, sized, corrected or delivered. The method follows: hand calculations, code checks, simplified models or advanced analysis according to the required level of evidence.

Why the firm exists

An agile structure without diluted technical responsibility.

FEA Consultants was created to provide direct access to senior expertise, with a scope proportional to the problem rather than a process heavier than the need.

01

Direct technical ownership

The principal engineer participates in scoping, method selection, interpretation and the conclusion—not only a final approval.

02

Proportional scope

A focused question receives a focused check. A complex interaction or higher consequence receives a deeper analysis.

03

Traceable conclusion

Assumptions, criteria, calculations, limitations and recommendations are connected to the decision the assignment must support.

Experience and continuity

The age of the firm and its founder’s experience remain two distinct facts.

FEA Consultants was founded in September 2019. Its founder has more than 20 years of engineering experience. These two references are neither added nor confused: one describes the organization, the other the professional experience directly available to the client.

Founder and principal engineer

A short working path between the question and the decision.

Yannick Banaszak, P.Eng., ing., M.A.Sc., directly leads assignments. This proximity helps clarify assumptions, recognize data limitations and adjust the level of analysis before investing in an unnecessarily complex model.

The firm can act as the lead specialist, provide additional capacity to an existing team or offer an independent technical perspective on a decision.

Who we work with

Teams that need a solid answer without multiplying intermediaries.

Based in Québec, the firm supports projects across Canada and beyond, according to the scope, available data and outcome to be established.

Manufacturers and OEMs

Design, validation, modifications, fatigue, vibration, lifting, transport and equipment integration.

Contractors and fabricators

Field conditions, buildable details, temporary structures, assemblies and interface problems.

Engineering firms

Specialized capacity, advanced analysis, focused review or technical support integrated into a project team.

Owners and operators

Asset capacity, qualification, modifications, troubleshooting and investment decisions.

How we work

Required outcome first. Complexity only when it provides useful evidence.

The method must be able to confirm, qualify or refute the initial hypothesis. It is never selected to produce a predetermined answer.

  1. 01

    Define the outcome

Decision, capacity, compliance, cause, modification or expected deliverable.

  2. 02

    Set the criteria

Requirements, load cases, data, limits, uncertainties and consequences.

  3. 03

    Select a sufficient method

Hand calculation, code check, analytical model, FEA, thermal analysis or CFD as required.

  4. 04

    Conclude clearly

Results, limitations, recommendations and a usable written record.

A project that requires clear technical ownership?

Describe the outcome to be established and the information currently available. We will then determine the appropriate level of evidence and path forward.
